Gemini adds 13 new apps to expand its AI integrations

Google is expanding what its Gemini AI assistant can do outside Google's own ecosystem, with 13 new connected apps set to roll out over the next few weeks.

The new integrations include Ticketmaster, Zocdoc, Pandora, iHeartRadio, Wix, Otter.ai and Granola, giving Gemini users more ways to handle tasks involving entertainment, local services, productivity and music without leaving the assistant.

Google confirmed the new additions in a brief blog post, describing them as a "new slate" of connected apps coming to Gemini.

The additions span several categories. Productivity apps include Granola, Otter.ai and Wix, while entertainment and local services include Fever, GetYourGuide, Localiza, OpenTable and Ticketmaster.

Music services iHeartRadio and Pandora are also joining the list, alongside service platforms Angi, Thumbtack and Zocdoc.

The latest additions build on an already sizeable collection of Gemini-connected apps, including Canva, GitHub, Google Home, Instacart and WhatsApp.

The strategy gives Gemini a broader role as an interface for third-party services, allowing users to connect the assistant to more parts of their digital lives.

The rollout also includes a regional expansion for OpenTable. While the restaurant reservation platform was already available through Gemini for users in the US, Google says the new rollout will bring OpenTable support to users in the UK.

The company has not provided specific launch dates for each individual integration, saying only that the new connected apps will arrive over the next few weeks.
