Ariana Grande's brother Frankie defends her amid public scrutiny
Ariana Grande's family rallies around her amid health speculation
Ariana Grande's brother, Frankie Grande, is publicly showing his support for her amid concerns from fans about her health.
On Friday, Frankie, 43, shared a video from his sister's final North American tour show and wrote an encouraging message on Instagram, saying he will always support her and that he's proud of everything she's accomplished.
"Family forever. I will have your back until the end of time. I am so proud of you and so happy for you. Last night was a beautiful celebration of your artistry and the magnificent eternal sunshine family you have built and created. It was a magical night."
He and their mother, Joan Grande, attended one of her final shows in Chicago earlier in the week.
On a concluding note, he further wrote, "You are magical. You are my everything and I am so so happy I was there to see you shine on this tour one last time."
Ariana, 33, recently released a new song and music video that led to public concern about her health and appearance. The lyrics of the song also touch upon the pressures of fame and public attention.
Shortly after the release, a representative announced that Ariana will be stepping back from public appearances once her current tour ends. It was also revealed she will no longer take part in an upcoming London stage production she had been expected to join.
Ariana has said that her decision to take a break was planned quietly a while ago and wasn't a reaction to negativity or criticism.
As she wrapped up her North American shows this week, Ariana thanked her fans on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the experience and looking forward to her upcoming shows in London.
