Dwayne Johnson's wife makes surprising confession about their early romance
Dwayne Johnson and Lauren Hashian had the cutest date nights before marriage
Dwayne Johnson and wife Lauren Hashian's early date nights were surprisingly lowkey.
In an interview with People Magazine, Hashian opened up about Johnson's longtime love of music.
While discussing their new collaboration for Moana: Voices Across the Ocean, a companion album inspired by live-action Moana, she said, "Dwayne is very musical. I think growing up in a Polynesian household, you’re always singing. And his mother’s always playing ukulele. She carries a ukulele with her everywhere she goes."
"He grew up with music all around and he’s a really great singer. When we were first dating, we had a karaoke machine in our house. We’d have a date — I’d even make a drink and we’d sing karaoke for fun!" she continued.
Hashian joked that they “couldn’t go to the mall,” making karaoke nights a fun way for the couple to spend time together away from the spotlight.
On the other hand, Johnson shared, "I’ve been lucky, over the years, to be able to do a lot of stuff that I love to do and that a few folks out there have enjoyed."
"But this one is really, really special," the actor added.
