Argentina vs Spain: Sydney Sweeney picks side ahead of FIFA World Cup final
The FIFA World Cup final is scheduled to be held on Sunday July 19 in New Jersey.
A day before the FIFA 2026 final, American actress Sydney Sweeney shared a video of herself playing soccer.
In the caption that accompanied her video on Instagram, Sweeney declared her support for Argentina and jokingly offered her services if her favorite team needs her, leaving Spanish fans disappointed.
“Who you got this weekend? ARES let me know if you need me,” said the actress with a winking eye emoji.
The FIFA World Cup final is scheduled to be held on Sunday July 19 in New Jersey.
According to Reuters, The World Cup final offers football's grandest stage a deliciously odd pairing: Argentina, all pulse, fire and Lionel Messi, against Spain, the European champions who appear to treat chaos as an administrative error and have turned control into something close to an art form.
