Madonna has dominated the music charts after more than 20 years after Confessions on a Dance Floor ruled the charts, Confessions II has now also debuted in the top spot.

Madonna's Confessions II has debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 and the official UK Albums Chart.

This Number One marks the first time Madonna has ruled the Billboard album charts in the 2020s.

Beginning with 1984's Like a Virgin, the singer has now landed 10 albums at Number One in the US, and has become just the fourth artist to rack up 10 Number Ones on both the Billboard 200 and the Hot 100, joining the Beatles, Taylor Swift and Drake, Billboard reports.

The album also marks her 13th UK No. 1, making her the first US female artist to score number-one albums across five different decades. It also hit No. 1 on the UK Official Vinyl Albums Chart.

In the UK, the sequel to her 2005 record Confessions on a Dance Floor pushed her past Elvis Presley, placing her in a tie for fifth place among the artists with the most UK number-one albums of all time.

Confessions ll also topped the album charts in Australia and across Europe, it debuted at number one in Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

Rolling Stone has dubbed Confessions II Madonna's "best album in 20 years."
