The Jacksons set to make live comeback with UK tour

The Jacksons have announced UK shows for later this year.

Billed as Jackson 5 Live In Concert, the dates will see original Jackson 5 members Marlon and Jackie Jackson perform in Manchester, Cardiff, Wolverhampton and London this November.

The run will begin at Manchester's O2 Apollo on November 6 and wrap at London's Eventim Apollo on November 13.

Support on all dates will come from London funk and disco band Heatwave, who had hits throughout the '70s and '80s with tracks including Boogie Nights and Always And Forever.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-inducted group rose to fame as The Jackson 5 with Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael Jackson.

The band scored a run of hits, including I Want You Back, ABC and I'll Be There, before later continuing without Michael as The Jacksons.

The live show will feature Mitchell Zhangazha, who starred as Michael Jackson in MJ The Musical, and Haydon Eshun, who played the lead in the West End's Thriller show for more than 10 years.

Additionally, the release of the blockbuster Michael biopic, starring Jermaine's son Jaafar Jackson in the title role, with hits I Want You Back and Blame It on the Boogie leading the charge, the Jacksons have seen a surge of popularity for their music, with a global streaming jump of more than 163% according to Billboard.
