Jessica Simpson recently addressed fans on a personal level after she cancelled her forthcoming concert in Ohio.

Simpson went on to state that those who have purchased tickets will soon get a refund.

The Take My Breath Away songstress penned, “I’m so sad and I will miss y’all! I look forward to seeing y’all soon!!”

Notably, another note from the venue to ticket holders also shared the unfortunate news, stating that the reason behind the show’s cancellation was weather.

The statement read, “Unfortunately, due to the impending inclement weather, the Jessica Simpson concert scheduled for Monday, June 22nd, has been canceled.”

“Artist and fan safety are always everyone’s first concern. Tickets will be refunded to the original method of payment within 48 hours,” it concluded.

It is pertinent to mention that Jessica Simpson is currently on her comeback tour, as she returned to the stage after a 15-year break.
