For the past few days, “wrench attack by proxy” theory has been widely circulating, raising possible questions among the fans of Savannah Guthrie.

As per this theory, Nancy has been kidnapped as a part of wrench attack by proxy, revolving around the possibility that the abduction of Nancy was planned digitally.

The abduction potentially involved a $6 million Bitcoin ransom demand, “illustrating the documented trend of proxy target selection already identified in our 2025 report.”

This possibility of kidnapping stemmed from the reports issued by cybersecurity firm CertiK and former FBI agent called these insights “a huge breakthrough in Nancy’s case investigation.”

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told Fox News Digital News that this information based on “wrench attack theory” has been officially flagged for the investigative team. From now on, the team will also look into this possible angle and motive.

Experts suggest that Guthrie may have been targeted due to her relationship to Savannah Guthrie.
