Czechia striker Patrik Schick is preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup as one of his country’s key players, with fans also taking interest in his family life away from football.
The 30-year-old forward played a major role in helping Czechia qualify for the tournament, finishing as the team’s top scorer during the UEFA World Cup qualifiers with five goals.
Schick tied the knot to Hana Běhounkova in July 2020 during a wedding ceremony held at the Bon Repos mansion near Prague in the Czech Republic.
Schick and Běhounkova, who are both 30 years old, and have two children together. Their daughter, Victoria Schick, was born in October 2020, while their son, Nico Schick, was born a year later in October 2021.
The Czech forward has spent the last seven years playing football in Germany. After spells with RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen, he continues to play for Leverkusen in the Bundesliga.
Schick remains one of Czechia’s most important footballers heading into the World Cup, with supporters hoping his form on the international stage can help the national side make an impact in the tournament for the first time since their last appearance at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
