Taylor Swift insulted on air at her 'wedding venue'
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce plans to hold their wedding anniversary at Madison Square Garden in July 2026
Taylor Swift's fans felt insulted after Knicks radio team made what they saw as inappropriate remarks about the mega popstar during NBA Finals history between New York Knicks and San Antonio.
Unaware that they were on air, the radio team discussed Swift's presence at the Madison Square Garden, where Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are planning to hold their wedding ceremony.
Broadcaster Monica McNutt was heard asking “Is that Taylor Swift down there?”, before adding “She’s not a Knicks fan. Get out of here girl.”
One clip of the controversial comments shared on X has garnered more than five million views within a few hours.
Commenting on the video one user wrote, "Sports journalists should be better informed. .And less obvious about their racial bias."
Another said, "That woman just wanted to belittle her. Any og fans knows Taylor Swift has always been a Knicks fan. Maybe do a quick Google search before you speak."
Meanwhile, it's been reported that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are planning to tie the knot in New York over the July weekend and the reports of Madison Square Garden hosting no events from June 29 through July lend credence to the reports about the wedding venue.
