How Kevin Jonas 'wingmanned too hard' in helping Nick impress Priyanka Chopra

Kevin Jonas has admitted he went to extreme lengths in helping his younger brother Nick Jonas during his first date with Priyanka Chopra.

The eldest Jonas brother made the revelation on the Hey Jonas podcast, where he joked that he “wingmanned so hard” during the date that he ended up throwing up in the bathroom before returning to the group.

“I wingmanned so hard I threw up in the bathroom and rallied,” Kevin jokingly added.

After the pair's middle brother Joe Jonas, 36, played a sad noise in reference to the vomiting, Kevin said, “No, no, no! Praise! Clap, clap, clap.” Kevin did not explain exactly what caused him to get sick.

Nick, who recently celebrated eight years since the couple’s first date, laughed about the moment and described it as a “pro move.”

Earlier this year, Nick shared more details about the couple’s first date during an appearance on the Therapuss with Jake Shane podcast. He explained that he invited friends along to make the situation feel more relaxed and less stressful.

The group attended a live performance of Beauty and the Beast at the Hollywood Bowl. Priyanka brought her best friend, while Nick invited Kevin and several other friends.

Nick also joked that Kevin spent much of the evening hyping him up in front of Priyanka, including exaggerating his athletic abilities. Nick said even Priyanka noticed Kevin trying hard to help the date go smoothly.

Nick and Priyanka first connected in 2016 after he messaged her on social media. They later met in person in 2017 and got engaged in 2018. The couple married in India later that year and welcomed their daughter, Malti, in 2022.
