Jason Segel playfully hints at the kind of dad he expects to be
Jason Segel shares prediction about his future children
Jason Segel has opened up about his future family plans, letting everyone know that he expects to have a “moody, creative, puppet-y kid” one day.
The Shrinking star, 46, spoke about the possibility of having children with fiancée Kayla Radomski during an event in Los Angeles celebrating the Apple TV+ series.
When asked whether he hopes to start a family, Segel laughed that any future child of his would probably be unusual and highly creative.
The actor also shared that wedding planning with Radomski is going smoothly and called her “the best person in the world”.
The couple announced their engagement in June 2025 after Radomski shared photos from the proposal online and called it the “best day” of her life.
Earlier this year, Segel revealed he carefully planned the proposal with the goal of making the moment as emotional and memorable as possible.
Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he explained that he proposed at The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens, a place connected to one of their early dates.
Segel said he tricked Radomski into believing they were attending a donor dinner before leading her to a romantic setup featuring rose petals and a Greek statue.
The actor said Radomski initially believed another couple had just gotten married there before he surprised her with the proposal.
He also revealed that musicians began performing Tale as Old as Time from Beauty and the Beast — one of her favourite films — immediately after he got down on one knee.
Segel also added that he personally designed the engagement ring for the proposal.
