Savannah Guthrie pleads 'bring her home' as mother's missing case remains unsolved
Savannah Guthrie shared an emotional message on social media as search for mother continues
Savannah Guthrie is pouring her heart out as she is missing her mother, Nancy Guthrie.
It has been four months since the search for the Today host's missing mom is still going on, but the case remains unsolved.
The 54-year-old TV personality took to her Instagram account on Sunday, June 7, and posted an emotional message to her Stories, making a plea to the higher power.
"Oh my, my soul it cries out, soul, it cries out," the text reads over a painting portraying angels and Christ. Savannah added, "Bring her home."
Nancy, who has gone missing from February 1, is said to have been abducted from her Tucson home by a masked man. Some alleged notes sent to authorities solidified the belief that Nancy was taken against her will.
The latest update on the missing case was shared by Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos on May 12, that his department, along with the FBI, is “working hard to get this resolved.”
“I think every day they get closer,” the official added.
FBI Director Kash Patel also updated on the case recently and told NewsNation that the FBI offered support to Pima County as soon as Nancy was reported missing.
He said, “We showed up immediately and offered our assistance. We were not let in for four days. And that’s their choice.”
The agency’s director went on to claim, “We offered our assistance to go test the DNA. And it’s up to them. They chose to use a private laboratory.”
“We continue to offer assistance,” Patel added. “I even visited our Tucson office, where we had 150 agents and analysts working on the Nancy Guthrie race to provide intelligence.”
