Once, the duo of Kanye West and Jay-Z were a dominating pair in the industry. They had several hit collaborations.

Both of them had a brotherhood, which was deep at the time.

But a rupture came.

The two titans split, who once had a family ties, reportedly shunned each other.

Now, Jay-Z has dissed Ye in a solo performance which he did after a hiatus of six years.

At the Root Picnic festival, Hov — the rapper's nickname — rapped in a 4-min blistering freestyle.

"My children is some of them, have you n***** no shame?" Jay-Z spitted bars, firing back at West's past claims about his kids.

Hov did not stop there.

He further rapped, "Y'all trying to get under skin, I really get under skin."

"Ask Un how I'm playing. Everybody thinks they're the ones who are insane. You're no maniac."

By 'Un,' Jay-Z referred to Lance 'Un' Rivera, a music executive he was accused of stabbing in 1999.

Jay-Z slams Drake

West was not the only target Jay-Z had in mind.

He also took a potshot at Drake.

Drizzy, in his latest album, Iceman's track Janice STFU, took a dig at Hov, rapping, "The jig is up."

In response, Jay-Z, who has in the past mentored Drake, delivered razor-sharp lyrics.

"The jig is up, n**** I'm up 10; wrong chart champ, n***** looked up to Hov; I never looked up to them."

He also rapped, "Those crackers got your publishing checks; go talk tough to them; don't talk success to me."

"You n***** is workers, in perpetuity is how your contract is worded," Jay-Z spitted bars.
