Kanye West eyes breaking crowd record as $100M concert boom set to hit Türkiye
Kanye West is gearing up for a mega-show in Türkiye, expected to be a spectacle
Kanye West is set to shake Türkiye with his hotly anticipated concert after over a decade.
Though it will be a single show, it is expected to draw a windfall to the Middle Eastern country.
First, the concert at Istanbul's Ataturk Olympic Stadium is targeting to bring in 115,000 fans.
Attendees from Russia, Kazakhstan, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, and other countries are set to arrive in Türkiye.
This will, if it happens, break a record of the previously held figure of 98,000.
In addition, West's mega-show is reportedly set to generate almost $100 million for Türkiye’s tourism industry.
Erdem Karahan, founder of ILS Vision, who is organising the concert, shared these jaw-dropping figures.
"We expect the event to generate between $50 million and $100 million in ancillary revenue from international visitors' accommodation, transportation, and food and beverage spending," he told Turkiye Today.
However, this whopping number is not all the attraction for the much-anticipated concert.
Enter Travis Scott
Karahan teased Travis Scott is expected to perform with Ye at the show.
He teased that both rappers may perform their track Father.
Previously, the duo hit the stage at a Los Angeles show.
West's daughter North West is also rumoured to attend the concert.
The concert will take place on May 30.
