Lisa Kudrow breaks the 'Friends' bond with her explosive claims?
'Friends' cast protecting legacy after Lisa Kudrow's controversial interview
Lisa Kudrow recently made some shocking claims about her time on Friends, which have reportedly stirred unease among her former castmates.
As the actress reflected on her time playing Phoebe Buffay, she admitted feeling overlooked. She claimed that in comparison to her other castmates like Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc, she felt "nobody cared" for her.
Now, insiders have suggested that these remarks have not gone unnoticed among the cast, which negotiated contracts together during the show's rum to maintain equal pay and solidarity.
The source told Radar Online, "The cast is very protective of the show's legacy."
Adding, "They negotiated together, stood together – that was the whole point. They want the story of Friends to remain about unity – not division."
It is pertinent to mention that the situation is said to be sensitive following the death of Matthew Perry, whose passing deeply affected the co-stars. Sources claim that the Friends cast bond is even "more sacred" after the tragedy.
Despite the tension, tipsters have insisted that a full-blown feud is unlikely. They noted that there's "too much love" for remarks to spark any feud.
