Why Bunnie Xo says looks don’t matter in relationships?
The author and podcast host reveals her surprising dating rule for men
Bunnie Xo revealed her unique approach to dating a man.
The wife of country singer, Jelly Roll, opened up about what she looked in a man during a recent appearance on Playboy, when a male fan’s question popped who was concerned about his looks.
Bunnie advised the fan to "make a woman laugh" and not to focus on his look as for the podcast host, "looks are not everything."
"I’ve never dated a man for their looks," Bunnie shared. "I’ve always dated a man for how he made me feel."
She went on to advise men who are currently dating, "If a woman is only dating you for your looks, you need to find another woman, because looks fade, especially when you get older."
"If you’re going to grow old with somebody, not everybody’s going to be hot when they’re old," Bunnie added.
It is pertinent to mention that Bunnie and Jelly Roll tied the knot in 2016 and renewed their vows in 2023.
In a previous chat with People, while promoting her memoir, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic, she dished on the ups and downs she and Jelly Roll faced during the initial years of their marriage and how Jelly Roll's 2018 affair almost ended their marriage.
“Granted, we were both a****** when we first got together, but we have evolved together. . . . [When we met] he was going down a path of drugs. I was coming out of a domestic-violence relationship. I had so much baggage, so much toxicity; he had never been in a real relationship," Bunnie recalled. "We had to learn together.”
