Electric car Skoda Peaq unveiled as largest SUV yet with 600 km range and first-time features
Skoda is also introducing several new features like built-in washer wipers, flush door handles and its largest panoramic roof
Skoda is preparing to launch its largest electric car to date, as the upcoming Peaq SUV moves closer to production.
The new model, first previewed as the Vision 7S concept in 2022, will sit at the top of Skoda’s electric range above the Enyaq and Elroq.
It will be offered in both five and seven seat layouts, with a focus on space and practicality.
At nearly 4.9 metres in length, the Peaq is larger than the combustion powered Kodiaq and features an extended wheelbase designed to maximise interior room.
Boot space reaches up to 1,010 litres in the five seat version, while a front trunk adds extra storage.
The electric car will be available with two battery options.
The smaller 63 kWh pack offers more than 460 kilometres of rangew while the larger 91 kWh version exceeds 600 kilometres. Fast charging from 10 to 80 percent takes around 28 minutes.
Power outputs vary, with single motor versions producing up to 282 hp, while a dual motor model delivers 295 hp and reaches 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds.
Skoda is also introducing several new features like built-in washer wipers, flush door handles and its largest panoramic roof with Dynamic Shade Control.
Inside, the SUV will feature a 13.6 inch touchscreen, a digital driver display and optional massage seats with a Sonos sound system.
