Prince Harry’s Facebook request to journalist Charlotte Griffith laid bare
Prince Harry’s friendship with reporter Charlotte Griffith comes to surface
Prince Harry was reportedly friends with journalist Charlotte Griffith, she reveals in court.
The editor-at-large told High Court this week that Harry had sent her a friend request on Facebook and asked to exchange numbers. The claims were made in reference to the Duke of Sussex’s case of unlawful information gathering.
Charlotte later revealed that she met Harry in 2011 during a party at a mutual friend, Arthur Landon’s flat the same year.
She said: “Arthur hadn’t made it home by the time that I arrived but told me Prince Harry was staying at the flat and that the party had already started under Prince Harry’s watch.
“He told me that Prince Harry would let me in if I made it there first.
“The music was loud and they didn’t hear the doorbell, so Arthur advised me to call and text to be let in,” she revealed.
Prince Harry left the Royal Family back in 2020 alongside wife Meghan Markle and son, Prince Archie. The couple later accused the Royal Family of showcasing racism towards their son and publicly shared their grievances on television. Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
