Halle Berry gets candid about her objection to press interviews
Halle Berry has a problem with the media, which she explains clearly in the latest interview
Halle Berry has not given an interview for almost a decade. She explains that the reason is personal.
In an interview with The Cut, she shares that media coverage of her love life forced her to stop giving interviews.
"I pretty much stopped doing interviews for a decade because I got tired of the same old story," adding, “It was always: ‘Poor Halle — Unlucky in Love Again.'"
The John Wick actress even makes headlines by describing her current situation. “Hmm. ‘Halle Berry Is Not a Damsel in Distress,'" she pens another one, “‘Halle Berry Is Not a Victim of Failed Relationships.' ‘Halle Berry Never Said It’s Anyone Else’s Fault.’”
In addition, she shares that after her third divorce, the media went gung-ho.
“After my third divorce, people started to say, ‘What’s wrong with her? She’s crazy. She can’t keep a man,’” the actress notes, adding, “And I would always argue, ‘Who says I want to keep a man if he’s not the right man?
Regarding her current relationship with Van Hunt, Berry says she is "in the best relationship I have ever had."
It is worth noting that the star first tied the knot in the 1990s to baseball player David Justice, then to singer Eric Benét, and finally to actor Martinez. She also has two children.
