Jennifer Garner breaks silence on Rita Wilson's inclusion in 'The Last Thing He Told Me'
Jennifer Garner gets honest about Rita Wilson's inclusion in 'The Last Thing He Told Me' season 2
Jennifer Garner recently got candid and opened up about Rita Wilson’s inclusion in the sophomore season of The Last Thing He Told Me.
For those unaware, Garner played the role of Hannah Hall in the American mystery thriller television series, which debuted in April 2023 on Apple TV+.
Now in the second season of The Last Thing He Told Me, Wilson has been added to play the role of the Elektra star’s mother.
At a book signing event for Laura Dave’s recently released book The First Time I Saw Him, Graner reflected on her close bond with Wilson.
During a Q&A with Dave at a January 15 event in Burbank, California, she announced that Wilson "comes into the show this year as my mom.”
"Now, Rita is not old enough to be my mother but in Hollywood, we play hard, loose and fast with women's ages,” the Peppermint star noted.
Garner, who is 16 years younger than Wilson, went on to give the audience an advice: “Don’t look too much into it.”
Moving forward, she also hinted that she and the 69-year-old American actress and singer "emotionally, we have something really complicated going on."
Before concluding, it is pertinent to mention that The Last Thing He Told Me season 2, which consists of eight episode, will be released worldwide on February 20, 2026.
