Hollywood meets Bollywood: Will Smith eyes Shah Rukh Khan collaboration
Will Smith wants Shah Rukh Khan to cast him in a movie?
Hollywood superstar Will Smith is hoping to make Bollywood debut.
Speaking at the Dubai premiere of his National Geographic series Pole to Pole, the Bad Boys actor revealed that he has Shah Rukh Khan as his co-star in his mind.
Furthermore, Smith shared that he had previously been in talks about working with Salman Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, saying, "I was talking to Salman. We had things we were talking about."
"I was trying to get into something with Big B, you know. He told me I could be Big W, so we were cool, we were sharing the title. There were a couple of things over the years… nothing panned out," Smith added, as quoted by Bollywood Hungama.
Specifically calling out Shah Rukh Khan, the Oscar-winning actor said, "I want Shah Rukh to put me in something, Shah Rukh what’s up."
Pole to Pole with Will Smith is a seven-part National Geographic docuseries following the actor on a 100-day journey from South Pole to the North Pole. The series reportedly was five years in making, exploring all seven continents.
It is set to premiere on January 13, 2026 on National Geographic.
