King Charles’ desperation to meet Archie, Lilibet sparks new rules: ‘Faraday bags & security’
King Charles’ desperation to see Archie and Lilibet is so great that he’s gone the extra mile to set up a lot of rules
It appears a line is being drawn in the sand, and its specifically for Meghan Markle, all in light of the anticipation of Prince Harry’s UK visits.
According to a report by New Idea the move is specifically designed to keep Meghan ‘in line’ and is being enforced by none other than King Charles, at the behest of Prince William, her brother in law.
It comes amid the monarch’s own growing anticipation for his grandchildren who live on the other side of the pond.
The US-based royals who are high up on the line of Succession are six and four respectively and prior to this, have rarely made visits to the UK, despite Archie being born while his parents were in the country as full time royals.
According to the same outlet, part of the reason King Charles is moving forward with this is because he knows the Duchess is the reason a ‘spanner’ is being thrown in the works. Stemming from her fear for her own safety.
Even a Palace insider has come forward to explain all the groundwork that has gone into an implementation of this level. According to him, “Charles is getting extremely impatient with Harry and told him to start asserting his needs more.”
For those unversed, “the hope is for a visit at the end of February or early March, but at the urging of Prince William, Charles is taking every precaution to avoid more family bust-ups.”
Another big thing that King Charles is putting forward as a demand is that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s publicity team will not have a hand in anything during their visit.
This was explained by a well placed source who explained the reason for this and said, “he will need reassurances that there will be no surprise solo outings or media access or paparazzi-friendly shopping trips – everything has to go through his team.”
Furthermore, “all social media has to be pre-approved and coordinated,” its being said.
This time around “there are to be no clashes, no distractions, and no more online shade. All private family meetings will need phones to be locked in Faraday bags and left with security.”
The Firm is even said to be going the extra mile to have a mediator present, and their role will be to make sure “Meghan doesn’t bottle things up and offload later on in interviews” under the guise of “healing.”
Before concluding the same insider also chimed in with a memory of a past instance and admitted, Charles is also hoping that even Meghan won’t want random doorbell footage of Harry making the news again while they’re here.”
