Jennifer Lopez Las Vegas residency: Pop icon jokes about her past marriage to Ben Affleck
JLo shares laughs about love, marriages and heartbreaks
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck had a tumultuous relationship. However, the pop icon in her latest show reportedly took a sly dig at her marriage to him.
It was her new show in the Up All Night residency in Las Vegas. The On the Floor hitmaker, after performing, takes time to pay gratitude to fans.
“It went by in a blink, didn't it, for those of you who were there on opening night ten years ago?” she gushes about the fans who were at her All I Have, her first Vegas residency in 2016.
“And, you know, at that time I'd only been married twice,' she quipped, reportedly referring to her marriage with Bene before correcting herself, “That's not true, it was only once. It felt like twice.”
But before ending, she clarifies, stating, “'I'm just kidding! It's over, and I just — boom — we're fine.”
However, given her heartbreaks, Jennifer shares some good news. It’s that she was “learning and growing,” adding, “And we're in our happy era now!”
Moreover, the musician at the show also clapped back at the critics of her dressing. "I do laugh at some of the things because they do funny things too."
She continues, "They say, 'Why does she always take pictures like that... she always smiles with her mouth open. Why she always dress that way, why doesn't she dress her age. And I say, 'if you had that body you would be naked too."
It is worth noting that JLo has been married four times.
