Rob Reiner’s pal reflects on couple’s deaths
Rob Reiner and Michele Reiner's close friend is opening up about their deaths and how she is dealing with the loss.
As per a recent report by People, the late director's close pal, Neda Soderqvist, who is a celebrity fitness trainer and had known the Reiner family for 15 years, told the publisher that losing the couple has been deeply painful.
She said their deaths were “probably the worst experience I've ever encountered because I don't think I've ever felt that [kind of] loss.”
“The feeling was unimaginable,” Neda continued. “I honestly couldn't even put it together in my brain.”
It is pertinent to mention that Rob and Michele were found dead inside their Los Angeles apartment on December 14.
Recalling the time when police found their bodies and told the ages of the people, the shock fully set in, “I just ... I plopped down and I think I might've said, ‘No.’ That's all I kept saying — ‘No, no, no, no,’” she shared.
Neda further noted how she has been coping with the pain of losing Rob and Michele in the past few weeks, she noted, “The one thing that is getting me through this, honestly, is I can tell you that if one of them went, the other one would have left a few weeks after from a broken heart because they are inseparable."
“One of the things that I tell God and I feel okay in my heart is that they're together. That's the only thing that can get you past this, is that Rob and Michele are holding hands forever.Even at the end of their life, they left together … It soothes my heart,” she added.
