Elaine Hendrix opens up about learning 'beautiful' lessons on 'Dancing with the Stars'
Elaine Hendrix finally reveals what being on 'Dancing with the Stars' taught her
Elaine Hendrix recently got candid and revealed what her journey on Dancing with the Stars taught her.
While conversing with PEOPLE magazine at the 24 Hour Plays Gala, the 54-year-old American actress and dancer talked about the lessons she learnt on the ABC hit reality show.
Hendrix said, "I learned so many lessons. Two in particular just immediately stick out to me. Number one was just what I'm actually capable of."
She added, "I had high expectations of myself and I blew them out of the water. To really believe in yourself when you have a dream… I gave it every ounce of my heart and soul, and it was worth it."
The Freakier Friday star went on to open up about the second lesson, which was "learning to receive so much love and support" from people around her.
Hendrix “literally had the country rooting for me, especially when I went to the hospital and I was afraid that I was going to be voted out because I was injured, but I wasn't.”
"Then Alan [Bersten] and I made it to the finals. To receive that much love and support is both overwhelming and incredibly beautiful," she remarked.
For those unaware, Elaine Hendrix participated in season 34 of Dancing with the Stars.
