Dave Coulier gets honest about his love for his grandchild Chance
Dave Coulier recently got candid and opened up about his role as a grandfather.
In his recent appearance on Today, the 66-year-old American actor and comedian shared his feelings as he has become a grandfather of Chance.
For those unaware, Dave’s 33-year-old son Luc and his wife Alex welcomed their first child, son Chance, on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
Voicing his thoughts into words, the Full House star admitted that he never imagined he would ever love someone with the same intensity he loves his own son but his 8-month-old grandson has proved him wrong.
He said, "You know, I never thought I was going to fall in love with another little boy like my own son, but [then] this little baby Chance [came] in our life, and he's the happiest kid. He falls asleep at night laughing. He'll go in his crib and just play."
The Family Holiday actor added, "I told my son and my daughter-in-law, I said, 'You are so lucky. You have no idea how good this kid is. It's fantastic.'"
It is pertinent to mention that Dave first shared the news about his becoming a grandfather in his interview with Parade in April of this year.
"We're so excited. My son and his wife live in California, so we'll be making multiple trips to see that little boy,” the grandfather said at that time.
