Amy Tapper plans skin removal surgery after incredible eight stone weight loss
Amy Tapper reveals she need surgery to remove loose skin after dramatic slimdown
Amy Tapper has revealed that she plans to undergo skin-removal surgery after being left with loose skin following her remarkable eight-stone weight loss, achieved with the help of the medication Mounjaro.
The former Google box star, 26, has slimmed down from a size 26 to a size 18 through a combination of the popular weight-loss injection and regular exercise.
Amy previously shared that doctors prescribed Mounjaro at a time when she was seriously considering gastric bypass surgery. While she is proud of her transformation, Amy admits that the rapid weight loss has resulted in loose skin-something she intends to address through surgery in the near future.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, she explained: 'Unfortunately and inevitably, when you have lost as much weight as eight stone, and there's gonna be more, there's a lot of skin that is juts not gonna disappear with exercise.
'It's not possible, you know? It's stones and stones of fat and it's now just skin. 'My arms and my tummy are definitely gonna need surgery at some point, but my legs are actually OK.'
She jokingly added: 'These little side bad boys are really toning up.'
This comes after the TV star was accused by trolls of 'cheating' with her weight loss because she uses the jab, she insists she has maintained a consistent workout routine.
