King Charles has taken a sigh of relief as he found a key figure who will carry on his legacy in the future, and that is his daughter-in-law, Princess Kate.
The Princess of Wales performed key engagements during Remembrance Week. She extended support to the monarch by joining the royal family to mark Remembrance Sunday in Prince William's absence.
Later, for the first time, the future Queen made a sombre appearance at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire to commemorate Armistice Day. She laid a wreath and met the families of war heroes.
Speaking of King Charles' inner feelings on seeing Catherine stepping out for meaningful royal duties, Jennie Bond said, "I’m sure the King is delighted every time Catherine steps up to perform high-profile duties."
As per the Mirror, she added, "He must recognise that she is an absolutely key figure in the future of the monarchy, and - just like William - he is proud of how completely she has embraced her role."
Jennie shared that Princess Kate was a picture of "modern future Queen" as she carried out "most solemn duties in the royal calendar."
It is important to note that since her cancer diagnosis and fighting a challenging battle with the fatal disease, Kate Middleton has only been participating in events which hold great significance.
Jennie shared that she is "prioritising her children in these early years, and for protecting her own health after suffering such a serious cancer diagnosis."
