Prince Harry thinks England will lift FIFA World Cup 2026
Prince Harry backed England during an interview recorded in the UK on Monday
Prince Harry has expressed support for England to win the FIFA World Cup 2026. The Duke of Sussex was speaking on Joe Marler's podcast in a wide-ranging interview released on Monday.
Harry sat down with the former England rugby international for the Joe Marler Will See You Now show.
The episode was recorded during Harry's visit to the UK last week, with filming taking place at Kennington Podcast Studios in London.
During the interview, Prince Harry backed England's football team to win the World Cup.
"I think it's coming home, not going to be easy, never is," the Duke of Sussex predicted.
England found themselves preparing for a meeting with Argentina a day after overcoming Norway 2-1 in extra time to reach the last four.
England’s World Cup semi-final against old rivals Argentina is a fixture laden with history and one that offers Thomas Tuchel's side the chance to move within one game of ending a 60-year wait.
England have reached the semi-finals for the second time in the last three tournaments, having fallen to Croatia in extra time at Russia 2018.
Their only appearance in a World Cup final came in 1966, when they lifted the trophy on home soil.
