The longtime family friend says, Sarah and Andrew’s bond has “survived everything”, and the former Duchess of York has no intention of “turning her back on him now.”

Sarah, who was last seen in Austria, and Andrew have lived together at Royal Lodge for decades despite their divorce.

The royal expert has claimed that Sarah has privately accepted that her days as a public royal figure are over, but the former Duchess still hopes to spend more time in Britain.

The close insider told Rob, “Sarah knows there’s no road back to public life. She’s made peace with that. What she wants now isn’t a comeback—it’s a normal family life surrounded by the people she loves.”

Following the release of Epstein file, Sarah and Andrew were forced to leave the royal residence besides their titles.

For three decades after the end of their marriage, Andrew and Sarah maintained the closest of bonds, with Sarah even describing the pair as "the happiest divorced couple in the world".

The fresh claims came days after the royal insiders said that Andrew has issued a stark warning for his daughters Princess Eugenie and Beatrice following major public snub from them on Father’s Day.

An insider says, "Andrew simply cannot understand how it’s come to this. He insists he's doing everything he can to help them behind the scenes. He’s been lobbying the King to get them more financial help and fighting to protect their titles, he swears up and down he’s even been trying to help Sarah Ferguson’s standing within the family, and instead of being grateful they are stabbing him in the back.”
