Adam Peaty's mother says wedding snub left her feeling she 'didn't want to live'
Speaking out for the first time, Caroline admitted that she now accepts 'it's end'
Adam Peaty's mother, Caroline, has broken silence after claims surfaced that she has been excluded from her son's Christmas wedding to Holly Ramsay.
Tensions reportedly escalated following Ramsay's recent hen party. The situation is said to have started when Caroline was left off the guest list for the celebration, which was attended by Victoria Beckham and Holly's mother, Tana.
Speaking out for the first time, Caroline admitted that she now accepts 'it's end.'
'I know it's the end. But please I want Adam to hear is no matter what happens in the future, please know I love you, your dad loves you, you can come home and talk to me at any point,' she said.
'There's nothing you have done that I would not forgive. I hope your marriage is a good one. I want you and Holly to have a long and happy marriage. The reason I am speaking out is I want all this to end.'
Caroline claimed that her son's attitude is due to the influence of Gordon Ramsay.
She continued:
'He's in Gordon's clutches. Their family is very insular,' she told the Daily Mail.
Caroline went on to admit that she didn't want to live after she was snubbed from Adam's hen and stag documentary.
She said:
'I was crying all the way home. I got home and told Mark that for the first time in my life, I felt I didn't want to live. That's how this has made me. I am a strong woman and I can get through anything, but this has broken me.'
For context, Holly is the daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. The couple are set to tie the knot next month in an extravagant ceremony at Bath's historic Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul.
