Camila Mendes shares dreamy proposal pics with 'best friend' Rudy Mancuso

Camila Mendes and Rudy Mancuso are engaged after three years of dating, and the proposal was straight out of a fairytale.

On Friday, October 24, the Riverdale alum said “yes” to the comedian, announcing the happy news in a joint Instagram post.

“Engaged to my best friend,” the new bride-to-be wrote in the caption as she shared photos from the dreamy proposal. Mancuso got down on one knee at the end of a hallway decorated with white sheets, flowers, and candles.

Just hours prior to their official announcement, Mendes’ representative already broke the news in a statement to People magazine.

The YouTube star popped the question in front of their family and friends, although Mendes was taken completely off guard.

“She thought she was going to a birthday party for producing partner Rachel Matthews, but it was a surprise engagement party instead. Rudy proposed to her in front of their family and friends” the spokesperson revealed.

To keep the celebrations going, Mendes, 31, and Mancuso, 33, then attended Glen Powell’s birthday bash at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

The happy couple met each other in 2022 on the set of Música — a coming-of-age romantic comedy film released in 2024 — written by Mancuso with Mendes playing his love interest.
