Kate Hudson reveals life-changing morning rituals for career success
American actress believes mindful morning routine make a big difference in life
Kate Hudson has recently shared life-changing morning rituals for a successful career.
The Bride Wars actress has opened up about her positive habits that make a big difference in her life.
“I wake around 6 am and do some sort of meditation practice while I drink warm water with lemon. I also try not to look at my phone during this time,” reveals the 46-year-old in a new interview with EatingWell.
Kate dishes, “Then about an hour after I wake up, I'll have coffee or tea and walk outside barefoot and do sun gazing, which is one of my new favourite things to do before my kids wake up.”
Reflecting on its benefits, the Something Borrowed actress mentions, “Sun gazing is a great new thing I do in the morning: It's beneficial for your circadian rhythm and sets your body up for the day.”
Besides sun gazing and walking, Kate also gives priority to her breakfast, which is essentially a protein shake.
“In my refrigerator, I cut carrots, cucumber, jícama, and peppers in Mason jars with a little water at the bottom, and cut fruit such as mango, pineapple and berries, and when the kids want a snack, I tell them to open up the fridge,” she discloses about her daily routine.
However, the Raising Helen actress says that she keeps things simple at night.
“I like to get into bed really early and try to read before I go to sleep,” continues Kate.
Meanwhile, the actress discusses her one guilty pleasure she enjoys before bed.
“I am obsessed with home furniture and looking at live auction sites, not to buy anything, but to browse and see what's out there,” she adds.
