Taylor Swift’s fiancé Travis Kelce receives bad news amid 'TLOAS' release
Travis Kelce faces major setback on Taylor Swift’s 'Showgirl' release day
Travis Kelce celebrated his fiancée Taylor Swift’s big day as her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, was released, but he got a rejection the same day.
The 35-year-old NFL star was expected to be a candidate for the first Golden Globes for the best podcast category, but he was nowhere on the official list.
The awards’ short list was released on Friday, which featured 25 podcasts, but New Heights was not one of them.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end got snubbed by the awards by the Golden Globe officials, reportedly in favour of more conservative-leaning podcast hosts, including Tucker Carlson, Joe Rogan, Megyn Kelly, Ben Shapiro, Theo Von, as well as Candace Owens.
Familiar Hollywood names also made it to the category – with people like Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, Will Arnett, Amy Poehler, and Dax Shepard, as well as Alex Cooper.
Although the star athlete’s podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, broke streaming records, as well as the Guinness World Record with their episode featuring Swift, they did not receive a nod of acknowledgement from the award show.
