Ed Sheeran reveals reason behind major decision of moving out of UK
Ed Sheeran is considering moving out to UK and becoming a country musician
Ed Sheeran reveals the reason behind big transition in his music journey.
The Perfect crooner is now more focused on his family than his music as he prepares to spend more time in the United States instead of United Kingdom.
The Shape of You singer unveiled the major news on The 2 Johnnies Podcast that he's about to make the move to America with his wife Cherry Seaborn and their daughters Lyra, 4, and Jupiter, 2.
For Sheeran, fatherhood has made significant changes in his life. He shared on the Call Her Daddy podcast, saying, "Even just not being a f--king maniac with drink and drugs or smoking," he said, adding that he's now an early riser and prioritises time with his family.
"I exercise now—never exercised before. I get up in the morning, rather, I used to sleep 'til like 4 p.m. It really has changed dramatically."
Ed has adjusted his work schedule to revolve around his daughters, saying, "I'm home more. My work schedule is based around them rather than based around me."
He's also happy to sing whatever Lyra and Jupiter want him to, revealing that they love Moana songs and his own track Sapphire.
Elsewhere, the singer was also inquired about his musical aspirations, he mentioned that he's drawn to country music and might consider transitioning to the genre.
"Nashville is my favorite city in the States," he said. "My end goal would be like, 'I'm gonna move to Nashville and transition to country.' I think you just have to do it properly. It's a genre you have to really respect. It's not just a dip in and out."
