Nick Jonas gets emotional as anniversary tour becomes milestone moment
The Jonas Brothers are ready to celebrate 20 years with their fans
The Jonas Brothers were all smiles as they prepared to kick off their anniversary tour this week.
The pop trio, includes Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas, reunited for the Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour and said they felt proud of everything they had created for the show.
Nick shared, “We feel really proud of the show we’ve built and excited for fans to see it. And we have some really special surprises in store.”
The group planned to begin the tour on August 10 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. However, Joe said performing there have always been a dream for them. “We took a little over, probably about two years to make this and kicking things off at MetLife Stadium is a dream come true.”
The band also revealed that fans would be a big part of the show. “We have a few moments incorporated into the night where we’re including the fans in the show, in some really meaningful ways, getting to hear their stories,” Nick said. “And then also a little dance break during our current single, No Time To Talk, so get your dance moves ready.”
The bothers planned to play 42 shows across US and Canada.
Earlier this year, Priyanka Chopra's husband also shared how proud he felt of their music’s lasting impact. “It’s aged very well,” he said. “It’s one of those things where we’ve looked out and seen the fan base really evolve and change and there’s sort of a generational aspect to it now.”
Nick further added that it was fun to watch fans of all ages enjoying their music. “It’s great to look out there and see such a really interesting mix and to see that the songs they respond to are a reflection of that.”
