Young K-pop stans are thrilled with excitement as something incredible is about to happen in Abu Dhabi.
Korean music industry is expanding globally and have introduced many K-Pop dance and vocal training workshops and academies across the world.
This time fan favorite "Gangnam-style" Korean group is going Gulf.
Most popular hallyu is offering UAE stans a chance to see what it takes to be a Korean pop star as part of a government-sponsored cultural course.
Korean Cultural Center (KCC) and Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts (DIMA) are teaming up to bring the first ever K-Pop workshop in the UAE’s capital, Abu Dhabi.
The K-pop academy offers courses in singing and dancing along with Korean singers and dancers from most popular music groups.
Fans are excited as the same academy has trained popular K-Pop artists like Seventeen and Zerobaseone from South Korean popular Boy Bands and Kwon Eun bi, famous South Korean actress and singer.
The Korean music workshop is designed for different age groups with dedicated sessions for youth, adults and children.
KCC believes that the workshop will open new creative horizons specially for the participants. Young children will not only learn about the K-pop performances but also the process behind the creative content creation.
Mark your calendars to experience the real K-Pop vibe from august 20-22, 2025, because the K-Pop Academy X DIMA Dream School will run sessions in dance, vocals and video production in training workshop for absolutely free.
Participants will get to learn choreography and singing sessions from K-Pop hit songs such as:
• BLACKPINK’s - Jump,
• BTS - I Need You
• NewJeans - Super Shy
This program will also include tracks from Netflix Korean animation K-Pop Demon HUNTRX featuring Take Down and Golden by HUNTR/X and SodaPop By Saja Boys.
The workshop aims to boost the Korean culture in the Middle East, offering an in-depth experience for K-pop fans of all ages.
Previously K-Pop has launched its training academies in the U.K., Germany, Egypt, Indonesia, South Africa and U.S.
Additionally, K-Pop also introduced independent training academies like the Global K-Pop Girls Dance Academy and ACOPIA K-Pop Training Camp (KTC).
Furthermore, this is DIMA ‘s first official visit to Abu Dhabi making a new chapter for K-Pop fans across the Gulf region. Workshops like these shows that the hallyu wave is here to stay.
