Queen Camilla looks stunning in Queen Elizabeth's heirloom brooch
The late Queen was deeply passionate about horse racing and breeding
Queen Camilla stepped out in green with a touching tribute to Queen Elizabeth as she attended Royal Ascot alongside King Charles.
The royal couple was accompanied by Prince William in the royal carriage procession after Princess Kate withdrew from the event at the last minute.
For the second day of the prestigious races, Camilla stepped out in a vibrant green ensemble that featured a delicate nod to the late monarch. She accesorised her outfit with an elegant emerald and diamond drop brooch that once belonged to Queen Elizabeth, adding a sentimental touch to her appearance.
Her emerald green crepe silk dress, designed by Anna Valentine, perfectly complemented the precious brooch. Camilla completed her look with a matching green hat crafted by Philip Treacy and sparkling bracelets from Van Cleef & Arpels, as per GB News.
King Charles and Queen Camilla are hoping for improved results in the upcoming races after their horse, Reaching High, finished a disappointing ninth in the Debut Stakes earlier in the event.
Following Queen Elizabeth's death, Charles and Camilla inherited her extensive collection of thoroughbred horses.
The late Queen was deeply passionate about horse racing and breeding, celebrating more than 20 Royal Ascot victories during her historic 70-year reign.
