Andrew Garfield suits up in iconic symbiote look for 'Amazing Spider-Man 3'
The 'Amazing Spider-Man 3' movie starring Andrew Garfield was originally set to be released in 2016
The Spider-Verse just got darker as Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man embraces the symbiote in a striking new poster.
A fan who goes by the name Mohd Haris on Instagram reimagines Garfield's Spider-Man wearing the famous black Symbiote suit — one of the most iconic looks from the comics — for The Amazing Spider-Man 3 film concept.
Ever since Garfield, 41, returned as Spider-Man in No Way Home (2021), fans have been hoping for a third movie in his series, which was originally cancelled.
The third Amazing Spider-Man instalment was originally set to be released in 2016 but was scrapped due to shake-ups at Sony Pictures.
While Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU) hasn’t confirmed whether they’ll actually make it, fans are still excited and sharing ideas of what it could look like, which includes this fan-made artwork that shows the web-slinger being taken over by the symbiote.
Notably, the Spider-Man enthusiasts have seen Garfield wearing the black Spider-Man suit in the Amazing Spider-Man movies.
He famously donned the black suit with the symbiote in the second film, The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Additionally, there's fan speculation and discussion about him potentially wearing it again in the future, especially in a potential Amazing Spider-Man 3, as seen in the latest concept photo above.
