Cher’s son Elijah Blue Allman gets new blow from wife Marieangela King
Cher’s daughter-in-law initiates new legal action months after conservatorship drama
Legendary American singer Cher’s son Elijah Blue Allman is headed for a divorce again, but this time, his wife Marieangela King initiated it.
The musician filed for divorce after over a decade of marriage on Tuesday, April 8, according to People.
Court documents obtained by the outlet cite "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split, with the official date of separation listed as March 31, 2025.
Per the filings, the 37-year-old singer is seeking $6,000 monthly in temporary spousal support and requested to retain the couple's 2017 Toyota Prius.
However, if Allman chooses to keep the vehicle, King has an alternative arrangement in place: a one-time payment of $2,000 and an additional $500 per month in spousal support to help her purchase a new car.
She has also requested that Allman cover her attorney fees.
Notably, King's new legal action came over a year after a judge granted Allman’s request to dismiss a divorce filing he initiated in 2021.
In January 2024, the Goddess of Pop’s son filed to dismiss the annulment of marriage "without prejudice," which was approved the following month.
The couple reconciled then, but they faced legal challenges, including a high-profile court battle involving Cher.
The Believe singer filed an ex parte motion seeking emergency conservatorship of her son, citing concerns over his alleged mental health and substance abuse issues.
