‘Avengers’ director spills beans on Millie Bobby Browns casting rumours
Millie Bobby Brown seemingly short-listed for upcoming Marvel films
Millie Bobby Brown’s rising career met another major opportunity to set her status as the successful young Hollywood star.
The directors of Captain America: Winter Solider (2014) and Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019), Anthony and Joe Russo in an interview with the Entertainment Weekly opened up about Brown being casted in an upcoming Marvel project.
"Millie is on the list for every project," Joe said. "You just can't ask for a bigger star right now.”
Gushing about her work ethics, he added, "And [she is] somebody who is passionate about the work, passionate about promoting the movie, passionate about getting up every day and coming to set, making the crew feel good. Yeah we will put her in anything."
Anthony continued, "The exciting thing about Millie is that, even though she has done some wonderful work so far, she is young, and she has characters in her that audiences cannot even guess at yet."
The Enola Holmes actress is said to be short listed for casting of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.
If she gets casted, Brown won’t be the first Stranger Things artist to be part of Marvel.
Previously, David Harbour played the Red Guardian in Black Widow. He will also be playing the role in the upcoming Thunderbolts*. In addition to that in recent reports Sadie Sink is said to be part of the cast of Spider-Man 4.
Currently, Brown is busy promoting her film, Electric State starring Chris Pratt. The film is streaming on Netflix.
Meanwhile, Avengers: Doomsday, is scheduled to bow May 1, 2026.
