Nicole Kidman is more than grateful to her late mother Janelle for instilling the importance of work-life balance in her life.
The 57-year-old actress, who was previously honoured with AFI Life Achievement Award in September 2024, opened up about how her late mother spoke some sense into her and helped her keep some balance in her life after embracing motherhood.
During an exclusive interview with CBS, Kidman recalled, "When I gave birth to Sunday, I thought I was pretty much done [with work]. We had moved to Nashville, we were living on a farm. And that is when my mum said, "I wouldn't give up completely. Keep a finger in."
Explaining her mother’s advice that she gave her years ago, the Babygirl actress further went on to add, "She said, "Listen to me, keep moving forward. I'm not saying do it to the level that you have been doing it, but I wouldn't give it up completely.
"It was probably something that she wished she had, and she didn't get that. So she was able to give that to my sister and I."
Although the actress has ruled the film analytics with her mind-blowing performance in erotic thriller Babygirl, she is now gearing up for another American starrer, Holland, which is slated to release in 2025.
