Mark Wahlberg details challenges of playing villain in 'Flight Risk'
Mark Wahlberg reveals his most wicked moments he played in 'Flight Risk'
Mark Wahlberg has recently reflected on the challenges of playing a villain in Flight Risk.
Speaking to PEOPLE, Mark, who portrays a fugitive in Mel Gibson directed movie, revealed that he’s a “religious guy” when asked about any lines he didn’t want to cross while playing a villain.
The Arthur the King actor believed that God's “a fan of movies and has a sense of humour”.
However, Mark explained that it's just the movie and the character.
“I never want to kind of censor that in myself,” remarked the 53-year-old.
The Family Plan actor noted that sometimes it’s important to “push the envelope and then let everybody else decide”.
“But being that character, it's better to push it and have it. You can always tone it back. You can't really crank it up,” said Mark.
Earlier, the Ted actor spoke to the same outlet in June 2024 and opened up that he, Mel, Michelle Dockery and Topher Grace shot the new movie in just 22 days.
In his latest interview, Mark discussed about his character, saying, “We did a lot of improvising, a lot of Mel throwing different things out there, but there was a lot in the script as well.”
The actor, who partially shaved his head in the movie to give his character a balding look, further said that he had “a stress-free rest of the summer” after shaving his head fully once the movie finished filming.
"I was at the lake. I felt so good when I get out of the water, I don't have to dry my hair or anything,” he quipped.
