Kai Trump garnering a lot of attention on social media: Here’s why

Donald Trump’s eldest granddaughter Kai Madison Trump has recently been grabbing a lot of attention on social media Kai after her political debut at Republican National Convention earlier in July.

Kai, who is only 17 years old, took the internet by storm with her heartfelt speech for her granddad.

The first-ever speech where she showcased a humanly side of Donald sparked significant public interest, and even Google Trends showed a spike in searches for Kai at the time, per Times of India.

Kai, who was born on May 12, 2007 in New York, is the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Haydon.

Interestingly, Kai is named after her great-grandfather, Danish jazz musician Kai Ewans. Currently, she is studying at The Benjamin School in Palm Beach County, Florida and is expected to graduate in 2026.

Kai Trump is an avid golf player

Kai Trump loves to play golf from the age of four and cannot missed a golf event or single practice for her team even in the midst of political chaos.

Kai became the varsity golf team captain at the Benjamin School and even lead the team to several regional and conference championships.

“Golf has always been a massive part of my life and is my biggest passion,” said Kai, per USA TODAY.

She stated, “I always aspire to be a leader and a positive figure on and off the golf course. I hope to continue my athletic career at the college level.”

During her speech in July, Kai confessed she had inherited her passion for golf from her granddad Donald.

“When we play golf together, if I’m not on his team, he’ll try to get inside of my head, and he’s always surprised I don’t let him get to me. But I have to remind him, I’m a Trump, too,” she shared.

Kai has also become a part of sporting influencers after she launched her own YouTube channel earlier this year.

Kai offered an election night insight video and a day-in-the-life vlog among mainly golf content.

Kai went viral for her Election Day vlog which so far garnered 4.3 million views as of now.

Her another video which went viral was of Elon Musk’s Space rocket launch in Brownsville, Texas.

In the video, she was seen travelling aboard her grandfather’s private jet, Trump Force One. So far, the video had more than 6.5 million views.

Meanwhile, the channel has gained over half a million followers in the last one month.
