Real reason Sabrina Carpenter, Barry Keoghan broke up
Sabrina Carpenter, Barry Keoghan’s relationship crumbles over one major issue
The real reason behind Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan’s breakup came to light amid a storm of cheating rumours.
According to Life & Style, a source spilled the beans on the Espresso hitmaker and the Saltburn star’s split, revealing they couldn't keep up with the long-distance relationship.
"It was frustrating being apart so much, and the long-distance factor really did them in," says the insider, adding, "it’s over."
It is pertinent to note that the Batman star is currently filming Crime 101 in LA, and the Please Please Please chart topper has been on the road since she kicked off the North American leg of her Short n’ Sweet tour.
The former couple, which reportedly parted ways due to their hectic work schedules, first sparked dating rumours in December 2023.
During their one-year romance, Keoghan, 32, and the Pop sensation continued to support each other.
However, split rumours began to swirl in August when gossip account DeuxMoi shared an anonymous tip suggesting that they called it quits.
None of the two commented on the report then, and they appeared to be together until their split was reported in early December.
"They are both young and career-focused, so they've decided to take a break," stated a source then, according to People Magazine.
