Ariana Grande, Ethan Slater pause Christmas tree shopping to pose with fan

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas for Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater.

Amid the unparalleled success of their new musical Wicked, the lovebirds were spotted Christmas tree shopping in New York City last week. 

One lucky fan even snagged a photo with the duo and shared their excitement on Instagram. "They were both super sweet. I don’t remember much because I was so excited, but they were really, really nice as I just lovebombed them for about a minute," the fan shared in the comments.

An insider who caught the couple in Central Park told People magazine they looked “adorable” while bundled up against the chilly weather. “They were walking arm in arm and seemed to be enjoying some quiet time together after the success of Wicked,” the source added.

The film, which stars Grande as Glinda and Slater as Boq, has been a box office triumph. With $114 million in its opening weekend, Wicked quickly climbed to become the seventh-highest-grossing domestic film of 2024, per Box Office Mojo.

Grande and Slater's relationship became public in July 2023, following Grande's separation from Dalton Gomez and Slater’s split from his ex-wife, Lilly Jay. The couple reportedly grew close while filming Wicked, adding a touch of romance to their shared on-screen magic.
