Princess Kate's personal moment of joy follows wholesome family vacation

Princess Kate's close bond with her family was evident as she celebrated her sister Pippa Matthews' 41st birthday on September 6. 

Pippa has been a steadfast supporter throughout Kate's journey, including her ongoing cancer treatment, and has shared in many of her sister’s highs and lows.

The author and columnist was seen proudly cheering her on during the men’s Wimbledon final in July, where Kate received a standing ovation from the Centre Court crowd as she took her place in the Royal Box.

Pippa, just 18 months younger than the Princess, was also a significant presence in her sister’s life before Kate married Prince William in 2011, the two having shared a flat in Chelsea, London. 

At Kate’s royal wedding, Pippa Matthews played a standout role as her maid of honor, dazzling guests in a fitted Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen dress.

When it was her turn to walk down the aisle, Kate was equally present, offering support on her special day. 

The Princess of Wales also played a key role in guiding the young bridal party, which included her own children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, into the ceremony.
