SAHIWAL: A local stage actress was admitted in a hospital with burn injuries after an acid attack, police said on Wednesday.
The police said the attack took place at a bus stop where Anam was waiting for a bus to leave for Lahore.
The police suspect one of the cousins of the actress might be involved in the attack as he used to stop her from working as a stage actress.
The police said they have registered a case and an investigation was underway.
