Britney Spears’ sons are in contact with their maternal grandfather Jamie Spears even though the singer’s estrangement from her father.
The source spilled to OK! magazine that Britney’s teenage sons Sean Preston Federline and Jayden Federline are also “planning a trip to see their grandfather Jamie,” in Louisiana.
The singer’s sons and Jamie chat on the phone at least once every two weeks while an insider mentioned that both boys also hoped to meet their other relatives in Louisiana.
Britney’s both sons, who she shares with ex Kevin Federline, reportedly made amends with their grandfather after he started experiencing medical issues in 2023.
So far, Britney seemed unaware of her “sons’ plans to see Jamie,” who has been vocal about her hatred for her father in the past.
In June, a source spoke to OK! and shared why Britney is afraid to reconcile with her family after the conservatorship.
“She may have seemed receptive to meeting with Lynne and Jamie Lynn at first. Then she changed her mind and got paranoid they were trying to trick her,” explained an insider.
The source mentioned, “She was kept a 'prisoner' for 13 years, the way she tells it.”
“She’s afraid if she gives them an inch, they’ll take a mile. She misses her mom and sister, but she doesn’t trust anyone in her family,” added an insider.
